You’ll need a valid passport, a recent photo, and a hospital letter confirming your treatment. The visa allows triple entry and is valid for 60 days from your first arrival. Eligibility Conditions and Validity:
- You must apply as the patient yourself to be eligible for the Indian Medical e-Visa.
- The Medical e-Visa is valid for 60 days from the date of your first entry into India.
- It is a triple entry visa, allowing you to enter India up to three times within 60 days.
- You can apply for the Indian Medical Visa up to three times per year if you need to return for further treatment.
- Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry into India.

- Family members or attendants accompanying the patient must apply for a Medical Attendant Visa instead.
Requirements:
- You will need an electronic or scanned copy of your passport’s first (biographical) page.

- A debit or credit card is required to pay the application fee.
- You must submit a letter from the Indian hospital confirming your treatment and answer related questions about the hospital.
- You must have a return or onward ticket out of India.
Application Process:
- Apply for the Indian Medical Visa at least 4–7 days before your flight or planned date of entry into India.
- Ensure your passport has at least two blank pages for the Immigration Officer’s stamp at the airport.
- You must enter and exit India only through the approved Immigration Check Posts, which include 28 designated airports and 5 seaports.
